Add a Shortcut to an App

To log in directly to an Service Apps app on your mobile or workstation, you should create a shortcut using the app URL.

On your mobile, using an icon on the home screen

System Procedure
iPhone/iPad
  • Click on the link of the app you received by email.
  • Click Iphone - Share icon to the left of the URL bar and select Add to Home Screen. A new icon will appear on your home screen.
  • Change the default name of the app and click Add.
  • Check that the icon appears on the home screen and that it runs the app correctly.
Android
  • Click on the link of the app you received by email.
  • Click Menu icon.png to the right of the URL bar and select Add to home screen.
  • Change the default name of the app and click Add.
  • Check that the icon appears on the home screen and that it runs the app correctly.
Windows Phone
  • Click on the link of the app you received by email.
  • Click Open menu icon.png and select Pin to Start.
  • Check that the icon appears on the home screen and that it runs the app correctly.

On your workstation, using a shortcut

Browser bookmark

System Procedure
Mozilla Firefox (create a bookmark)
  • Click on the link of the app you received by email.
  • Click Favorites icon to the right of the URL bar.
  • Open the Folder list and select Bookmarks Toolbar.
  • Click [ FINISH ].
Google Chrome (create a bookmark)
  • Click on the link of the app you received by email.
  • Click Favorites icon to the right of the URL bar.
  • Open the Folder list and select Bookmarks bar.
  • Click [ OK ].
Internet Explorer (add to favorites)
  • Click on the link of the app you received by email.
  • Click Favorites icon to the right of the URL bar.
  • Open the Add to Favorites list and select Add to Favorites Bar.
Safari (create a bookmark)
  • Click on the link of the app you received by email.
  • Click and drag the EasyVista icon.png icon in front of the app URL to the Bookmarks Bar.

Shortcut on the Desktop

System Procedure
On the Desktop
  • Right-click the Desktop and select New > Shortcut.
  • Paste the app URL in Type the location of the item.
  • Click [ NEXT ].
  • Rename the shortcut in Type a name for this shortcut.
  • Click [ FINISH ].
In a browser
  • Add your app to the Favorites Bar.
  • Click the app icon in the Favorites Bar and drag it to the Desktop.

Saving the login and password of the app

To avoid having to enter your login and password each time you want to run the app:

  • You can click [ SAVE PASSWORD ] the first time you log in to the app, if this is proposed by your browser.
  • You can also configure your mobile or workstation as described below.
     

Best Practice icon.png  Use a password to secure access to your mobile or workstation. When passwords are saved, any malicious person can log in to your app at any time.

On your mobile

System Procedure
iPhone/iPad
  • Click Settings in the menu and select Safari > AutoFill.
  • Enable the Names & Passwords option using Activate option icon.png.
Android
  • Open Google Chrome.
  • Click Menu icon.png and select Settings > Save passwords.
  • Enable the option using Activate option icon.png.
Windows Phone
  • Open Internet Explorer.
  • Click Menu icon.png and select Settings > Advanced Settings.
  • In Website passwords, select Ask each time.

On your workstation

System Procedure

Mozilla Firefox

  • Click Open menu icon.png to the right of the URL bar and select Options.
  • Click Security and select Remember logins for sites.

   Saved passwords can be decrypted using the Saved Logins option. For greater security, you can select Use a master password.

Google Chrome

  • Click Open menu icon.png to the right of the URL bar and select Settings.
  • Click Show advanced settings... at the bottom of the page.
  • In Passwords and forms, select Offer to save your web passwords.

   Saved passwords can be decrypted using the Manage passwords option.

Internet Explorer
  • Click Customize icon.png to the right of the URL bar and select Internet options.
  • Select the Content tab.
  • In AutoComplete, click [ SETTINGS ].
  • Check the box Ask me before saving passwords and click [ OK ].
Safari
  • Click Customize icon.png to the right of the URL bar and select Preferences.
  • Click AutoFill.
  • Select User names and passwords.
