From: Service Manager versions 2022 - Build 2022.1.109.0.03

  The configuration screen will differ:

  • For on-premises customers as opposed to SaaS-based customers.
  • Depending on the logged-in user's profile.

This screen is used to manage the Service Apps tenant and configure Service Apps team management rules.

  • The tenant is a secure cage in Service Apps containing all of the customer's Service Apps data and apps.
  • A single Service Manager user account is defined as the Service Apps platform administrator.
  • Teams are groups of users authorized to access the same Service Apps apps with the same rights.

Notes

  • When you modify information on the Service Apps tenant, you do not need to restart the smoServer service.
  • Service Apps tenant management can also be performed in Service Apps, with limited options. You do this in the Admin Panel > Tenant Management.
  • The Administration > Service Apps > Teams / Users screens are only accessible in read mode, irrespective of the logged-in user profile.
    • You can manage team members and access rights to apps for each team in Service Apps by selecting Teams Management in the Admin Panel.
    • You can manage users, user profiles and access rights to apps for each user in Service Apps by selecting Teams Management in the Admin Panel.
  • The Service Apps tenant is associated with a single Service Manager account. This involves a single Service Apps tenant for the two accounts 50004 (production environment) and 50005 (development environment), and therefore a single URL for the two accounts.

Caution

  • For SaaS-based customers, you must submit a request to the EasyVista CMC team in order to modify the logo to be displayed in Service Apps or to modify the method for the password reset procedure.
