Apps - Widget - Authentication icon.png This widget belongs to the Basic category in the widget library. It enables you to position the user information zone anywhere on the screen.

  • The user information zone is automatically positioned at the top right of the main bar in each app.

  • You should add an Authentication widget only if you want to position the user information zone Apps - Authentication zone.png in a position other than the default one at the top right of the screen or if you want to configure its contents.

Content

Show Avatar: Used to indicate if the photo of the logged-in user (1) should be displayed (box is checked) or not (box is not checked).

Show Name: Used to indicate if the name of the logged-in user (2) should be displayed (box is checked) or not (box is not checked).

Show Logout: Used to indicate if the logout button (3) should be displayed (box is checked) or not (box is not checked).

Show Profile: Used to indicate if the logged-in user can open the User Profile window (box is checked) or not (box is not checked). If the window can be opened, then users can modify their personal information and manage their personal accounts for accessing services with OAuth 2.0. authentication.

Alignment: Used to select the alignment for all elements in the Authentication widget, i.e. left, center, right, justified.

  • By default, Color properties are inherited from those defined at a higher level (Inherit box is checked). You can modify each property in its specific context (box is not checked). Open url.png See the principles of inheritance for graphic properties.

Logout Size (Inherit): Height of the logout button (3) in pixels.

Avatar Size (Inherit): Height of the logged-in user photo (1) in pixels.

Logout Color (Inherit): Color of the logout button.

Logout Hover Color: Color of the logout button when the cursor rolls over it.
