The Admin Panel of Service Apps - Font Management

Last modified on 2023/02/09 10:22

The Administration screen enables administrators to manage all fonts for the Service Apps platform.

This centralized management makes fonts available to all apps. This means that any app creator can use the fonts for all widgets.

Notes

  • Only the platform administrator whose profile is App Center Manager can manage fonts in the Admin Panel.
  • Standard fonts are managed by EasyVista. They cannot be deleted or exported.
  • There is no limit to the number of fonts you can import.
  • Only the following file formats are accepted: Ttf, Otf, Woff, Woff2, Eot.
  • You can import the same font twice if they are in a different file format.

Caution

  • When you delete a font, the action is final.
  • No warning message will appear when you delete a font that is being used in an app. The deleted font will automatically be replaced by the default font.
  • Web browsers may not support all of the font file formats.

Best Practice

  • You should import the same font in different file formats. In this way, if a given font is used in an app in a format that is not supported by the user's Web browser, the most appropriate format will automatically be used when the user runs the app.
