Integration Logs


Definition

An integration log is a text file generated by the smoScheduler scheduler once an integration model has run. It provides a report on the integration of data in the Service Manager database and displays the list of errors that require corrective action.

Best Practice

  • Display the list of errors to identify the multilingual labels that the integration was unable to update in the related tables.

Details

Integration Model: Name of the integration model.

Status: Status of the integration, automatically updated at the end of the integration processing.

  • The Failed status means that data was not integrated. The blocking points will be listed in the Errors tab.
  • The Succeeded (Warning Messages) status means that the integration was performed. The points to be checked will be listed in the Errors tab.

Start Date: Start date/time of the integration.

Duration (H:M:S): Duration of the integration in hours/minutes/seconds/milliseconds.

Connector: Name of the connector used for integrating data.

Unique Key Field: List of fields used as the unique key in the integration model.

Data Type: Source of the third-party data:

  • CSV: Text file in CSV format.
  • datasource: Database.

Qty Records: Total number of records processed during integration.

Support Person: Name of the user who ran the integration.

Qty Inserted Records: Number of new records added to the Service Manager database during integration.

  • Select the Records tab to display the list of records in each of the connector tables.

Qty Updated Records: Number of records modified in the Service Manager database during integration.

  • Select the Records tab to display the list of records in each of the connector tables.

Records

Number of records added and updated in each connector table used by the integration model.

  • To see the details of records, click the Added or Updated link.

Errors

List of errors occurring during integration.

  • The row number refers to the row in the data file used for the integration.

Procedure and Wizards

How to consult an integration log

1. Select Administration > Integration > Integration Log in the menu.

2. Click the log file.
The details of the log will appear.

3. Display the list of updated records in each connector table used by the integration model by clicking the Added or Updated link in the Records tab.

4. View the integration errors in the Errors tab.

Best Practice icon.png If there are too many errors, restore the Service Manager database using the backup. Correct the source data and run the integration again.

Wizards

Empty All Integration Logs: Used to delete all log files.
