EV Observe - Configure Timeslots
Timeslots are used to define specific periods for configuration items (CI):
- Notification periods, control periods and availability periods for hosts and services.
- Availability periods for user services.
Notes
- When a timeslot is defined for a company, it will be visible to all of the company's lower-level sites in the company tree.
- You can also define notification timeslots in contacts.
Best Practice
- Define timeslots at the highest level of the company tree so that they can be inherited by the lower levels.
- Control periods and notification periods should be defined 24/7 so that you can receive notifications 24 hours a day, every day of the week.
