EV Observe - Reports
Reports include:
- Activity reports that display SLA data as well as the capacity of configuration items (CI) present in the IT infrastructure.
- Widget reports dedicated to defining the scope of certain types of Dataviz widgets.
Each report:
- Is grouped in a category depending on whether it belongs to the internal IT infrastructure of the company and its sites, or whether it belongs to a customer's IT infrastructure.

- Report categories are defined by EasyVista.
- You cannot add new ones.
- You must select the category before creating a new report. You cannot modify it subsequently.

Caution
- If you modify the type of an existing report, i.e. activity report or widget report, its current configuration will be lost definitively.

- Reports whose visibility is private can only be accessed by their creator.
- You can consult existing activity reports in the Monitoring > Reports menu.
- You access Widget reports in the Dataviz menu.

Functionalities
- Click one of the reports to display the window for configuring the report.

Procedure: How to create a report
Step 1: Select the company where you want to implement the new report

1. Go to the Web app.
2. Select the company from the company tree structure.
Notes:
- The selected company must be associated with a Box.
- You can create a new company.

Step 2: Create the new report
1. Select Configuration > Reporting in the menu.
2. Select the category of the report, e.g. customer base for internal use, customer base for external use or internal IT.
3. Click Add.
4. Specify the information for the report.
- Select the type:
Activity report or
Widget report.
- Select the template.
- Specify the information required in the General information tab.
- Select each tab and define the scope of the report.

- Click - in the left pane to exclude the category.
- Click + in the right pane to include the category.

5. Click Apply to save the configuration of the report.
The new report will be created.
