EV Observe - Widget - Value icon.png This type of widget is used to display the last known metric value of a configuration item (CI).

  • The value is displayed in color, i.e. green, orange or red, so that users can detect changes in the CI (host / service) status easily.
  • You can display a gauge so that users can see the service's warning and critical thresholds quickly.
  • You can toggle from a view displaying the metric value to another displaying the gauge.
  • You can display the details of the metric in a chart.

Examples

Uses

  • Monitor disk space
  • Identify unusual application bandwidth usage using NetFlow
  • Monitor the time required for accessing an application website
