Default Values

Default values are used to initialize values in certain table fields when records are manually created or automatically created via data integration.

They automatically apply when the field value is not loaded in the target table.

Notes

  • The value is applied in Tree fields if there is no higher-level value. If there is a higher-level value, then it is inherited.
  • Fields whose values are inherited do not have a key unlike those whose values were manually specified or automatically created via data integration.
