Associate Photos with Employees via Integration

You can associate photos with employees using an integration model defined with the Employees with photos connector.

An integration package is provided to perform this operation. It includes the integration connector, an integration model, a sample file and sample employee photos.

Notes

  • The names of image files must not contain accents.
  • You must place image files in the folder called Resources/<Account>/image. <Account> corresponds to the Service Manager database where the data should be integrated.
  • You can use your own integration model built using the Employees with photos connector.
  • Only one photo can be associated with each employee.
  • Employees who do not exist in the AM_EMPLOYEE table will automatically be created during integration.

Caution

  • You should always perform a backup of the Service Manager database prior to running an integration model. This ensures that you can restore the database if there are too many problems or errors.

Best Practice

  • You should first run the integration model in the test database. This way, you can correct any errors displayed in the integration log before running the integration model in the production database.
