ev|Apps Builder - H2.2015 - Migration - Correction of Graphics Settings of Old Apps


 The new version of Product name - ev sas.png H2.2015 features improvements and corrections in terms of themes. Migrating an EasyVista platform to this new version may affect the visual appearance of applications created using previous versions.

Menu widget: Text centered vertically

Improvement: Menu widget names are now centered vertically by default.

Side effect: Text centered in the previous version may now be off-center.

Solution:

In the Cell Style section, check whether one of the padding properties (Icon Padding in the previous version) has been specified. If necessary, select the Inherit checkbox.

Border display

Correction: Borders are now displayed as configured in the theme.

Side effect: Unwanted borders may be displayed, despite not appearing in the previous version.

Solution:

In the Border section, select the Inherit checkbox for the Style property.

Bullet display

Correction: Bullet display tags (<LI>) are now interpreted.

Side effect: Unwanted bullets may be displayed, despite not appearing in the previous version.

Solution:

Open the text editor, select the paragraph containing the bullets, and click migration_html_4907ddb8.png to remove the bullets.

If you are working with HTML code, switch to HTML mode and amend the <ul> tags:

<ul style="list-style-type: none;">

Text color applied even when a Heading style is used

Correction: The Text Color property is now applied in all cases.

Side effect: In the previous version, the property could be ignored if a Heading style (H1, H2, etc.) was used. Regression of the display in the event of incorrect configuration (e.g. white on white), despite this having no effect in the previous version.
