Applications Gallery Template


Failed to execute the [include] macro

This template enables you to list the apps accessible to the connected user, within an app.

It is shipped in both the Desktop and Mobile versions.

  • The Desktop version (or large screen device)
    • The URL points to the template. It will avoid having to publish the URL of each app in production. 
    • The apps are displayed as in the gallery (icon, name and description).
  • The mobile version is designed to be used inside a portal.
    • Links allow the connected user to access all apps accessible to him.
    • The apps are displayed in form of list, either with the image and the name, or only with the name.

Notes

  • Desktop version:
    • If the user has access to only one app, this one is automatically launched.
  • Mobile version:
    • The name of the apps are automatically scaled to fit in the width of the column.
    • Descriptions are not displayed.
    • The margins are reduced.
    • If the user has access to only one app, this one is not automatically launched.

Procedure: How to install and use the template

Step 1: Importing the template to Product name - ev sas.png.

1. Download the required version of the files below to your workstation.
         Download icon.png  Template Desktop version
         Download icon.png  Template Mobile  version

2. Import the downloaded files to Product name - ev sas.png by clicking Apps - Gallery - Import icon.png Import in the Gallery toolbar.

Step 2: Customizing and publishing your app.

Desktop version

1. Add widgets you want, e.g. to display corporate news, useful links, etc.

2. Create the shortcut pointing to your app.

3. Set the access rights at the shortcut level: execution right to the system team Everyone.

4. Communicate to your users the URL to access your app.

Note: The trusted provider can be configured to point to the shortcut. In this case, access to the standard gallery is carried out by adding ?forcelogin to the platform URL.

Mobile version

1. Go to the Image+Name page and save the Authorized applications (Image+Name) widget as a Custom widget.
This new Custom widget allows you to display the list of apps with the image and the name.

2. Go to the Name page and save the Authorized applications (Name) widget as a Custom widget.
This new Custom widget allows you to display the list of apps only with the name.

3. Go to each app where you want to display links to all the apps that are accessible by the connected user.

4. Place one of the Custom widget you have created previously to display the apps in the form of Image and name or only Name.

5. Create the shortcut pointing to your app.

6. Communicate to your users the URL to access your app.
